I thought this was an interesting solution...not to get off topic.

Neil Harvey (Performance Developments) and I discussed this back when I was rebuilding my engine and was exploring twin plug options. Some of the 956 and 962 race cars utiltized the cam to drive a distributor. In Neil's application, he used an ignition module from Link and dual coils. The advance in the stock dizzy is locked down, utilizing the trigger, and the Link module/ECU controls the timing...fully programable.

So this is a scavenge pump modified to accept a basic 911 "E" or "T" cap and rotor. It's used in conjunction with your stock dizzy...two dizzys
