The leak was obvious, but not serious initially. Possibly on the track it has gotten a whole lot worse at max revs. Looks like I'll have to pull it apart.
I'm doing precisely the same job on my SC at moment - just about to remove cam box. But for another reason (find a noise). This motor (SC) has been completely oil tight for last 3 years. Still looks as clean as I put it back in. Reluctant to split it.
But the 930 could definitely benefit from less oil leaking. I guess I can't be sure what is going on til I fix that leak.
