Everytime I have been to the dyno my guys put blowers in front of, behind, or on top of the engine bay. Even watercooled guys need cooling air.

Now the big question is why does your car need anything more than what Porsche designed it to do? Is your car the way it left the factory? Then adjusting the settings to the factory specs will help develope good power and durability. There is no reason to worry about AFRs unless you have modified the system to flow more air than it was originally intended to flow.
