Brand new those seats were over $4,000 for the pair, and represent the kind of excess money owners would spend on their cars back in the excessive Regan '80s. The stock seats (even the optional Porsche Sport Seats) are no match in terms of comfort or even visual appeal. Hope that helps.

+ 1 on the seats.. I have them in my car and they are great, heavy.. but just great!

There is some adjustment that can be made to the thigh bolster that may help with shifting. Look at the lower front of the seat close to the floor. There should be a knob on each side of the seat. The knobs will either pull the bolster in or expand it out given the direction of turn.

Also, if the shifting is a little sloppy and you find it to be worn bushing in the shift coupler under the plate on the tunnel behind the seats... I'd try these as replacements for the stock parts.. they make quite a differnce!
