I think loctite was the key to mine staying in and not starting the engine for a few days after to make sure everything seals probably wouldn't hurt either.

I have been using the red loctite, and it doesn't hold up to the high heat. Was looking for specific info on a high temp thread locker.....and where to get it from.
I have been calling auto suppliers for high temp stuff, and in the process of working with Loctite themself to find out more info.
Such a PITA for a little piece on the engine.
I tell ya, at least I know immediately now what is happening when I hear that "VW engine" sound and can fix it right away.
Thanks for all the other ideas wiring is a solution, but alot of trouble to do with engine in the car.
