You may be able to use the stock down pipe because IA sells an adaptor that converts the end of the compressor outlet to the o-ring groove you need for this.
Worth looking into as an option.
I had some trouble getting this to fit over the cast surface of the turbo compressor be prepared for a little re-work. I preferred this to cutting up the down pipe and using silicon hose couplings.
Just my opinion.
