Of the 20+ replies here, I think the nail has been hit on the head. I've owned both normally aspirated 911's as well as my current and only 930. Yes, throttle response, low and mid range power, and more nimble handling characteristics are the desirable 911 traits, but let's face it....the 911 rush just primed the pump for more "muscle", and I don't think I would ever go back after tasting what the 930's can do. If turbo lag and poor low end performance bother you, then just consider it a glorious anticipation prior to the rocket launch just seconds away. And ignore the truck-like steering those huge tires cause and the tall gears. That's only an issue around town, but you'll be glad to have the stability and will come to love the 4 long gears when roaring down the road in the triple digits.
