Hi everyone,

Well it looks like I was too quick to pass judgement on the 4094r. My shop discovered that my ignition contacts had been exposed to condensation and needed a cleaning. So, after tending to that issue, they were able to get me back to my old baseline with the T66 hybrid.

With the car now running properly, they reinstalled the 4094r today and redynoed. The result was 585whp at 1.2bar, an increase of 10whp peak over the T66. Full boost spool is unchanged at 4000rpm, but the response of the 4094r from 2000-4000 is MUCH better. The 4094r developed 2-3psi more boost in that range vs. my old turbo so driveability and torque are nicely enhanced under the curve and real world acceleration should be better.

All in all the 4094r works great and would be a good choice for a big HP single turbo 930. With better headwork and a bit more compression, my shop believes full spool could be reduced to 3500rpm and the turbo has plenty of flow to put up much better hp numbers.

I will try to get the dyno graph posted this weekend.
