Cam timing

I'm installing 964 Cams in an '87 930 and I'm asking opinions on cam timing.

The cams are freshly reground Webcam #40 which is their 964 profile.
The car is street driven and I would like to have as much low and midrange power as possible with these cams without giving up too much power at the upper end if possible.

I know you can't have both without variable cam timing like in a newer car, but would like to get the best compromise possible with the 964 cams.

Webcam suggests a timing of 1.25mm with .10mm lash, and I just want to get some opinions from others who have already done it.

The car has B&B headers and muffler, Garretson long neck intercooler, K27HFS turbo, 1 bar wastegate spring, Brian Leask's adjustable control pressure regulator, and Imagine Auto modified fuel head.

New rocker arms and shafts, timing chains, sprockets and ramps are going in with the cams too.

thanks in advance,
