The rear bumpers get HOT on 930's at a standstill, it's mostly from the turbo.

I believe there are multiple heat shields?

Have you checked ignition timing? If it's retarded the EGT will go up considerably, even at idle

Too rich or lean AFR won't help either.

Does your engine have an air pump system, if it doesn't turnoff, it could affect EGT as well.

There are thermo-vacuum valves originally to turn off the air injection when the engine warms up, if one of these was overlooked or bypassed it could cause high EGT...

Perhaps take some readings off the bumper w/ infrared probe and report back w/ more details i.e. ambient temp, run time since cold, etc. etc.
