That is where adjustability comes in, weather it be manual, digital or whatever other way can be thought of to make the pressures correspond to the desired AFRs under specific conditions.

The red-hot header phenomenon can occur on an engine with an untouched CIS system. Aftermarket header design is less forgiving than stock exchangers.
