Mine's 245-degrees...

I measured mine after a quick spin [5-miles] around the block. mainly stop and go and in traffic. When I got home I got out my laser-meter and shot the back of the bumper. It's highest reading was in the middle at 245-degrees.

I went ahead and shot the exhaust side of the K-27, and it read 545-degrees.

I did the 2-min. idle before shut down to keep the turbo bearings in good repair.

How does this temp[s] sound to you guys who've been around the block here?

I'm still a new-bee... By the way, I'll send a pic of the engine going back into the car...
