I checked spark from plug lead when running, seemed ok. Swapped Pro-comp 91 E-core coil for MSD blaster 2 as I had one. Same result as before, adjusted the manual rev limit control knob on Pro-comp 6AL and as I done this the fault got worse and at lower revs until just above idle. Called tech support from Sydney Speed Supplies where i purchased the ignition, they said they might need to re-configure or repair the adjustable 2 stage soft touch rev limiter. I think I might just go for a MSD 6AL with plug in rev limiters ( 7000 rpm ) to be safe and as everything else is MSD. I will check alternator and battery voltage though to cover all basses, battery and all electrical are new but original alternator, not saying it has not developed an issue.
