You are already initiated into the turbo life. I don't think you would be happy without it. As Ben stated the dizzy is fine and the boost retard isn't needed. The 930 dizzy has a maximun advance to 24 degrees. That's it...... I think it had nothing to do with timing or AFR's and just the piston material. The JE's will be the cheapest strongest way out unless you find a set of stock 930 P&C's as Ben mentioned too.

Ben, if you have EFI what boost are you running and what is limiting you from running more? 8:1 JE's shouldn't hurt not running higer boost levels.

Pat, after all is back together why not find a intercooler?
