Have you ruled out the clutch as the problem? When you get going, will the engine not gain rpm or does it gain rpm without accelerating? If it is not the clutch, start with the basics: How does the engine run with no load? Does it have a miss or idle rough? Does it accelerate smoothly with no load? First check your all of your electrical connections (plug wires, distr. cap, coil wire). Make sure your vacuum is hooked up to our distributor advance (if applicable). If it misses pull plug wires until you find the bad cylinder. If the electrical appears ok, I would start looking at the fuel system. I would look for a clogged jet. (I don't speak Dell somone else needs to jump in here.)
