315's have a recommended rim width range of 10.5-12.5".

Am I giving up much running to the more narrow of the range?

I do not mind rolling the fenders. Not big on relocating oil lines.

It looks like these rims should come in at what close to the same weight as a factory set of 7&9's. This keeps the added weight to mostly what the bigger tires added.

If this is true, a set of 7&9/16 Fuchs w R888's running 205/245's compared to these w 255/315 goes from a total wheel weight of about 166 to about 188 lbs using Toyo R888's.

The rpm per mile for 245/16 at 24.4", to 315's at 25.6" goes from 850 to 812. Or about a 4% gearing difference in this example.

This may be of little impact on a 400hp turbo.

However, on a 217hp Turbo Look will this seem noticeable or significant with 4% higher gearing and 12% more rolling weight?

Is this to much tire to heat up at a DE event on a turbo look?
