Have you ruled out all of your vacuum and pressure hoses, intake o-rings, air intake pathway from CIS metering plate, through the turbo, all the way to the engine intake throttle body? Have you ruled out you have the wrong injectors? We know the engine is running there anything you've done in terms of mods to the engine that would normally require adding more enrichment?
You can remove the CIS intake with the engine in the car, but your back will probably never forgive you. It's not that the intake is heavy, it's all that time bent over! Had some very nice back cramps from that one!
