I used a rust preventer, a self etching primer and then Wurth undercoating to try and match the factory as much as possible

Jim, I actually did all this work in my garage. I used a pneumatic cutoff grinder to get everything

off and cleaned up so all the welder needs to do is just show up and weld.

A friend of a friend who builds “World of Outlaw” sprint car tubular chassis is going to do the welding

for me, he has a mobile truck and will just back into my driveway and weld everything up for < $100.
