The 45 series is too tall. The car wont feel as tight with that much sidewall anyway. The 245/40 should work perfectly. Also, remember that the same size tire will measure out differently from each manufacturer. Ideally you want the same diameter front and rear. On my car, I run a 315/35/17 at the rear, which measures out around 25.5" tall. If I plan on running a 245 or 255 up front, I'd need to stick with a 40 series to keep it in the 25.5" diameter range. Other than that its all about the offset of your rims. These cars are pretty much all the same and should hold as large as a 275 up front with the right offset.
