Oil Temp Gauge/Sender...

I've noticed that my oil temp gauge reads no less than 60-C [or 140-F] when cold. I have supplied a picture of what my gauge indicates when I first turn the key in the morning... Outside temp is in the 50's, but my car is indicating 140-F.

I've only had the car for a short while, and don't know if it was like that for the past couple of months...

The temp reading does go up as i drive the vehicle. But, i'm not convinced that it is giving me an accurate reading.

My question is:

Where is the Temperature Sensor located?
What is the part number? [I have a repair manual, but cannot seem to locate the part]
Is it easy to get to?
