Doesn't surprise me. Unfortunately, what is good for a start up company is not always good for it's longevity, which is why Porsche is what it is today. Most people are not like all of us here... they want comfort and status, with performance in between somewhere.

Sr and Jr Drs Porsche's lives were a continual struggle between what they wanted as engineers and racing nuts and what would allow the company to remain financially viable.

The great thing about the 930 tho, is that it is not hard to turn it into your own personal 'RS'. If you started with a stock model, and lightened it, it still would be fairly easy to put the stuff back on when you decided to sell.
