when i had my 911 i used the 2 bucket method..... one bucket is soap and water ( not dishwashing soap) and the other is just plain water.... used a microfiber sponge or mitt... rinsed off the mitt really well... start washing... the clear water bucket is used to clean the mitt of dirt and what not before dunking it back into the soap bucket.... it prevents marring of the paint from the extra dirt particles... if you compare the 2 buckets afterward.. you'll see the clean water bucket gets dirty and brown from everything and the soap bucket is cleaner... and i used one of those synthetic chamois towels... looks like the shamwow but its not... lol... and of course dont wash when the paint is hot or in the sun... if you have swirl marks you can polish them out.... i detail cars on the side so if you want i can give you more information if you like...
