Heh... I can provide some insight here for ya.

First, congrats on the upcoming nuptials.

Important to keep wife happy whilst still maintaining sanity. When Wifeo and I were just dating, I con'd her into approving my e28 ///M5 (family Ferrari). Sucker. That into a 190E 2.3-16, then into //S6, now into //S8.

Note the trend - sedans with uber power and rewarding driving experience.

Now, she ended up basically um disliking all of those. Alumibiatch now (//S8) is the first car I've had she not only tolerates but *really* likes (she likes her MB's).

So, talk to us - we'll try to tell you what we know. I've had good exposure in many of what you should consider, at speed.

Give us price point goals and miles tolerances. Stick / auto matter? How long intend to own? What 'region' it to be used (climate). Daily driver? Space requirements. Etc. Your CTS-V thought sorta paints me an idea but be more specific. I got a colleague into one of those, had me some good time in it, I def. have some feedback.

Real quick to mind jump all of what's been suggested:

e39 ///M5
Cayenne TT (don't laugh - it's a real MFk'er)

Spill it - I'll spill back, have had WOT time in those too (surf me blog below if bored) & many more if you need to pick me brain happy to share. I've got a wife and 3 young kids to keep happy and make things work daily in daily out in snowy CT...
