You need to run the vent off the WUR somewhere safe, so if your diaphragm splits the fuel that will jet out of it won't go all over anything hot, like your exhaust. I think Porsche vented it to the airbox so the car would bog down if the WUR went bad, or maybe that it was the safest place to send it
