Shift kit?

Hello,
I am an incurable tinkerer, just cant leave well enough alone. I saw a Weltmeister short shift kit on eBay for 69.00, snapped it up and threw it on, pretty straight forward install, minimal monkey effort, a 2 bananna job. Took it out for a drive, SCHWEET! My original shifter was like clicking the gears on my 2 1/2 ton army truck, and I was gonna have arm surgery to lengthen my right arm so I could hit 3rd and 5th without the lean forward and twist maneuver. Now its a slight reach and not much at that and now I can leave my wallet in the side pocket of my pants. If you are thinking of it, go for it, a must do. Now I have to figger how to make some linkage for my Hargett shifter so I can retain the heat and throttle, thinking of using stock heater stuff remote mounted forward and some small heim joints to link the stuff together, anyone else done this?
Hola
