Looks like IC is mounted w one out let on the bottom and one up. Supplied from the bottom. Top outlet exits through the motor compartment sheet metal behind the relocated electronics console. Looks like it might be a standard U shaped IC

IC looks to be tipped.

Check out Bell Intercoolers. They make an 6" thick core that comes in up to 12" in length that might work well and not have to be offset. The 6" by 6"by 10" long flows over 600 CFM.

Could have the bottom end tank point back for attachment to the turbo and the top point toward the motor with tabs added to built it right to the side of the inner fender. Would still require a hole in the sheet metal.
