I went to lock-up my car this afternoon only to find that the lock had no resistance. I could turn the key left or right in a full, complete circle. I can't lock or unlock the door.
I opened up the door panel and found a spiral spring laying loose in the bottom of the inside of the door (see below.) It's slightly larger than a silver dollar. I assume it's this piece that provides the resistance to the lock. Does anyone have a picture of how this piece might attach?
