I agree in some regards, feel 'mixed' in others.

Forget if I posted this here or not (knowing me - probably?), however - I DID omit my true 'feelings' about the comparo / contrasto so as not to offend my buddy who is ohsocool and was ohso generous in sharing.

997 GT3 MkII | Hot European Cars Blog & Discussion at European Car Magazine (I'm Sgt. Schultz btw/FWLIW)

All said, I kinda sorta oddly and surprisedly rather enjoyed my 996 time better. Granted, it's 'sorted'. Granted the 997 had like 1k miles and he didn't want to WOT it until "dealer prescribed 1200mi" or something, so 6500-7k had "to do" (if there is such thing in 'that'???).

Don't get me wrong, fantabulous car. But, like any 'neu' Porsche... an undeniable element of sterilty and removedness.

I was so 'easy' to drive, it was almost too 'such'. Dunno - hard to quantify.

I wouldn't kick one out of bed for spilling cracker crumbs butofocourse, but... my 930 ride home DID put a galactic smile on me face.

997s are firgin GINORMOUS cars. At least seemingly.

anywho
