Good points about filling the swale slightly.
When it rains the swale diverts the runoff from entering the garage.
Other gutter/swale options would make for a more gentle approach but I don't want to change my driveway yet.
If I raise the car and it still is a hassle I will look at those other options.

Yeah with an angled approach I can get in/out with less contact.
But with my wife's car in the garage and the steep slope daily radical angled transitions would be a pain.
Even under the best conditions backing out up the slope is tough on the clutch.
I expect the painted garage floor would take a beating if I had to saw at the wheel and S turn in/out every time.
I'd like to figure out how high the car can be raised and still be at or below factory settings.
