Suspension installation advice

OK I have decided to lower my car myself. I enjoy working on my car although my mechanical knowledge and experience is very little. I bought several books including the Bently service manual. I think I finally understand how to reset the rear torsion bars. I have also decided to upgrade the suspension while I am at it. Here is what I have bought:

Hollow Torsion Bars 23 front 28 rear
Sport shocks front and rear
Tarret sway bars front and rear
Elephant rubber bushing kit for control arms
Neatrix rear spring plate bushing kit

So I have a few questions:

1. Is their anything else I should consider replacing or upgrading while I am at it. I only want to get an alignment and corner balance once. Also forgot to mention that this is going to be primarily a street car with occassional track use.

2. When I start the job, should the car be level on all four jack stands or can I do the front first then the rear next. Seems like from my reading, the car should be level.

3. Does anyone have a diagram or recommend the jack stand points since my usual spots are where I will be working.
