It is quicker... 0-60, 0-100, and top speed... and it even feels faster.

I had the Nissan GT-R for a week when it came out. After the novelty went away (48 hours), it was clunky and obese to drive. Not a gentleman's car, by any stretch of the imagination. I have no doubt that the GT-R may be faster on the track (it is BRUTAL when driven hard), but the 911 Turbo is just so much more rewarding to drive.

Oh, I never really mentioned it in the article... but when you floor the throttle while cruising around, the torque literally throws your passenger back into the seat and their arms flail! I've never driven a car where you had to warn your friend that you were going to floor it. With the PDK anticipating downshifts (and matching the engine perfectly) turbo lag is nearly imperceptible. It is sooo bloody quick.
