There are 2 oil cooler systems on your car, an engine oil cooler and a front
fender aux oil cooler. There is also a thermostst mounted in the right rear
inner fender. Oil circulates through the engine oil cooler system untill a
temprature is reached that opens the thermostst in the rear fender and
then oil flows through the engine cooler, through the thermostat, through
the front aux cooler, to the oil tank, and back to the engine.

Simplified explanation but you'll get the idea.
