The 930 chassis makes a formidable N/A track car when lightened, which is the only reason I can fathom for doing such a thing. Swapping a Carrera drivetrain for the turbo is easy as the M491 option used the turbo suspension with carrera engine and 915 or G50 depending on year.

The most reasonable and inexpensive thing to do is buy a widebody converted Carrera. These are plentiful and $10K cheaper than a 930.
