Hmm Im kind of wondering if the 964 plastic manifold can be improved on a bit with simple mods? Im running it with the intake ports port matched to the manifold so 40mm and I had my stock 964 TB ported to 71mm by FVD.

Still, I wonder if I am getting any pressure drop considering that I am boosting to 1.25bar with a GT4094r turbo (2.5 inch outlet)? I am using a Mode full width IC so really cant improve on that, but I wonder if I can reduce pressure drop further by going to a 75mm TB and substituting the stock plenum T with a fabricated Y like the ones IPD makes for the newer 996 and 997 Turbos?

This is a pic of the high flow Y plenum for 996 Turbos using 75mm TB.

Just thinking here - if I am even getting 1-2 psi of pressure drop due to the restriction of the TB and the plenum T that equates to hotter outlet temps from the turbo.

Does anyone here think that fixing this part of the intake track would result in more power?
