+1 on the exhaust stud tool for drilling them out. I got that kit when I rebuilt mine, it was so precise that the threads came out like a spring. So if you are planning on going with time certs (which is a good thing) I would still get the tool to make sure everything is centered correctly. Better than the risk of screwing the head up. Throw the waste gate in the trash and get a Tial or a Tial knock off. you can buy a tial knock off thats still built better than the stock one for less than 100$. Tial replacement springs are about 30$.
