Well, the thing is working good. I didn't put it on a dyno, cause, really, I no longer give a crap about this sort of thing. Feels better than what it replaced, fine for me. As for some more efficient core, again, I could care less. That was never the ethos of this project for me. I had enough funds for the best intercooler but didn't want it. My idea was the original R Gruppe ideology of sticking to the greatest number of factory parts possible and something within the same era of technology. This was the perfect match for me. Looks almost factory, uses all factory parts, the easiest to put on or remove and for a reasonable cost. Chasing the last bit of hp through Bell or otherwise never interested me. I'm satisfied and will do the same thing over and over again.
