Rear spring plate poly-graphite bushings

Ok guys,
I guess I pushed my luck too far by putting 20K miles on a set of rear spring plate poly-graphite bushings. Apparently I have at least one that must have split & oozed out of place, as my car is now sitting 1-1/2" lower on the drivers side.
All this transpired over a 2 mile stretch of bad road.
So not only is it sitting low, the car also tramps a bit when you get on the gas. Obviously the spring plate pick-up point is no longer rigid due to mass bushing play. I will know more tonight after tearing it apart.

Cutting to the chase, do any of you know of a better product you can suggest, other than the $300 E.R.P. poly-bronze units. And if not, have any of you guys installed the E.R.P. units? Easy? Pain in the ass?
I think the main reason the poly-graphite ones died, is from grit contamination from driving in the rain & such. How do the E.R.P. units fair?
