What type of lag are you experiencing? What speed (MPH), what gear(3rd, 4th) and what RPM do you start registering boost? Most everyone has seen an improvement simply by going to a lower restrictive muffler. Do you still have the factory muffler?
With the K-27(7200's), people begin to see onset of boost in the 3000-3200RPM range with headers and low restriction muffler.
