I am pretty sure that this could fit into a 930 case- I have a 993TT unit in mine, and the guy I got the crank from has a 996 gt-3 crank in his 993TT- then the 997 turbo is roughly the same thing as a 996TT. So it should work. The reason you dont see the gear is because the guy simply removed it as they are not integral, so you could take the ones off of your 930 crank and slip them on* (I am pretty sure of this, not 100% that they will fit...) I also believe you can get away with using the 997 rods as well, but I dont know about the wrist pin bushings- you may have to have them pressed for units that fit your pistons' wrist pins.
