I think you can shop around and maybe save a few bucks on Sachs discs. I would steer away from the bargain basement no-name units. You are most likely puting out serious horses at the crank (and thus the clutch) and want something that can survive. Put a $99 disc in now and have it explode a week later..and drop the engine+pay for a tow? NOT, I would think.

Yes, the rubber centered discs are prone to self destruct with no warning (so I've heard) but only after a good long life. So, if yours looks good then maybe you should just live with it until it either becomes symptomatic or destroys itself.

I used Kennedy for my PP, but with a Sachs manufactured disc. Very happy with the combination....but then it wasn't $99 either.
Mark H. 1987 930, GP White, Wevo shifter, Borla exhaust, stock everything else. The result of a massive Pelicanite good will fire recovery effort. Truely an open book, ready for the slippery slopes to modification.
