Again Congratulations...
Johnny (driver and owner) is my landlord and I found myself with a lot of free time after being fired from my position as general manager of blue streak electronics.

I used to come in and give him my rent and look at the car as it was being fleshed out and made a few observations and suggestions that got incorporated into the car such as the boxes on the rear and the super secret implementation of the boost per gear system that allowed the car to hook up.

Even so, it was soft launched and I don't think the 600 shot of nitrous was even used more than maybe a touch in top gear since it can break the tires free at 170mph at full boost.

Next time the "torque management system" (read...traction control) may be used but the car is only on it's second time driven in competition and it has at least 15mph left as it sits now.

We were a little worried how the aero would work out at speeds no other gt has been to but it tracked straight. We'll have to reduce the data on the ride height and crunch some numbers to get an idea of downforce/ various speeds.

The splitter came off at 200 in the october competition and much gnashing of teeth commenced the guys tried to figure how to make it stay on until I said "just take it off" it stays since it did little more than drag the ground and funnel air under the front end anyway.

This is just the beginning of development of this car so much more should be expected of this street car with full interior, working a/c, and entertainment system.

I wonder how a big horsepower 928gts with a big diffuser would do?
