More progress from today..

I purchased a piece of perforated sheet-metal from my local hardware store to make the bracket.

This will allow plenty of bonding surface for the adhesive. The OEM bracket had many holes punched in it for the same purpose.

Then I fabricated a "stud support board" to properly align and hold the studs while welding to the bracket and setting into the wing.

I then fitted the steel bracket to the studs and clamped it up prior to welding.

Also, I pucked up the adhesive I plan to use today at my local auto supply house.
