I had a similar issue and Stephan Kaspar told me to run some Techron (concentrated) in the fuel.....cleared up in 10 minutes of driving. He said the fuel plunger gets a bit gummy. It's cheap to try it.......

The "flutter" sensation reminds me of what a carbed 911 feels like if 1 or 2 idle jets are plugged.
I haven't dug into it yet but someone mentioned that some rubber might not be compatible with the alcohol.
Any thoughts?
