Yes, you are leaving a lot of response on the table.

Somthing is wrong, you have to big of a turbo, or someone sold him the wrong A/R.

Only 700hp type builds have a boost curve like that.

Find out what turbo or A/R you have. I would have put a 60 or 62-1 turbo on. I forget the hot sides but depending on the wheel about a .8 A/R. I hope you by accedent ended up with somthing over a 1.0.

You should easly have full boost by 3000rpm if you want. Even if you were running 1 bar. Somthing in the 3500 at 1 bar would be a nice street/race set up. And that is at 1 bar. You should hit .5 bar hundereds of rpm sooner.

Thus, .5 bar at 3000rpm might be a good street/track goal. You do not need a BB turbo to do that but it can help.

If you wanted you could go for .5 bar by just over 2500rpm.

Not an expert, JMO.
