The other slippery slope:
I asked the shop to touch up a spot of surface rust and section of the driver's door that the PO had burned with a buffer in addition to the deer repair.
3 phone calls later-both doors and the rear quarters are getting paint as well as the new parts. ugh.
They found some rust bubbles on the doors and thought it would be best to get it taken care of now and they will have an easier time without having to blend the new paint on the doors with the old on the quarters.
Wifey was pretty thrilled when I told her about the increase in out of pocket cost.

(Coincidently, she had her annual review today and recieved a 10% pay increase.

I'll be afraid to drive it after I get it back.
