My '85 has one too, my 245/45-17 just miss it but they did rub the oil cooler protective cover so I removed that. They still rub the wheel wells when turning sharply thus reducing my available turning radius. It can be annoying in parking lots doing multipoint turns to get in and out of tight spots. Its ridiculous that such a small car needs so much room to turn around with these tires but I guess its the compromise of having cool wheels and huge tires. My rears are 315/35-17 and have no issues. Do other people with the same size fronts experience the same thing? Is there anything I can do to make it better (besides putting the standard Fuchs back on)?
