For a straight through muffler the choice between single, dual, or center exit is a matter of aesthetics. The sound level is dependent upon the muffler not the tailpipe configuration. You can modify the tailpipes to quiet down or be louder but that is a different topic and still has nothing to do with orientation.
If you wish to keep the stock look then go with the single out, if you like the dual look you'll need to cut or replace your valance.
