Did the 3.5 motor have a single standard sized WG or twin WG's?
Actually, I would have no problem routing the wastegate back into the muffler inlet on an engine with a 2.5" outlet turbocharger. All our mufflers are 3"throughout, and that flows plenty.
That 595rwhp was a single OEM wastegate. 100-octane, 1.4bar.
On 91-octane is was 515rwhp @ 1.0bar, 560rwhp @ 1.25bar.
3.5L, 38mm ported heads, 964 cams, 930 flat manifold, B&B headers, Garrett BB turbocharger, 3" muffler, B&B "full width" (C2T-style) intercooler, Motec M600 engine management, twin-plug inductive ignition. The B&B intercooler was the limiting factor on that engine, it just would let us cross 600rwhp.
