I carry those Ed. I'm going to assume by K27 you mean the K27-7200. The difference between the 7200 and the S is a machined cold inlet housing on the S. This facilitates about a 300rpm quicker spool than the standard 7200. It was designed to take advantage of the 965's larger ID air inlet plumbing. I have installed them on several 930's and do see a difference when compared to the 7200. The convoluted down tube on the 930 should take away some of the affect, exactly how much I have not measured. I generally recommend these turbos to 965 owners and those adding a turbo to a 3.2L Carrera as they have no down pipe restrictions in that application. The turbo handles low boost applications well and is a quick spool.
