We built the intercoolers for EP's car, Brian's car, and Bob's car.

EP's setup was the least efficient, but he wanted the stock SC/Carrera decklid. I don't recommend this, and we won't build another one like it.

Brian's white car (below) was the first intercooler of its kind we built. His car was a 1974 chassis with a 3.0L Turbo Carrera engine, still CIS-injected.

Custom intercooler, new custom 3" muffler, re-tune fuel system with prototype adjustable WUR. Gain of 47.3hp and 71.3tq at the same 1.1bar, 91-octane.

TurboKraft just completed Bob's car, a clean 1976 3.0L Turbo Carrera with our EFI conversion package. Bob did the whole EFI install himself and had a local shop in FL do the initial tuning. After we fixed some programming issues, we tuned it up on the dyno to get a baseline before building the intercooler. 272.5hp/252.0tq @ 0.8bar, 91-octane.

Made the new intercooler, re-dyno the car and tweaked the fuel & timing accordingly -- 295.3hp/288.5tq at same boost, same fuel. Nice gains from an intercooler at stock boost pressures.

Bob had a target of 300rwhp, though, and these are only 6.5:1 compression engines, so more boost was in order. At 1.1bar: 350.1hp/337.1tq.

If you want an intercooler like this, too, we can help you.
